Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in patient care, particularly working with older adults in a long-term care facility.
Duties
As an Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
Assessing patients’ needs and developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals.
Implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' ability to perform daily activities.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educating patients and their families about treatment options, progress, and home care strategies.
Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical standards.




Staying updated on medical terminology and best practices within the field of occupational therapy.
Providing support in acute care settings, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective therapy services.

Experience
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
Previous experience is preferred, with a focus on long-term care settings.
Proven experience in case management and understanding of patient care protocols
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy.
A valid Occupational Therapy license as required by state regulations.
