Construction Labourer

Kennedy Contracting Inc. is looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team serving the Simcoe and Muskoka areas.

We complete a wide variety of residential projects including renovations, additions, new builds, cottage construction, decks, landscaping, hardscaping and general construction. This is a hands-on position with an chance to develop skills across multiple areas of the construction industry.

Responsibilities
Assist with renovations, framing, decks, exterior construction, landscaping, hardscaping and general construction
Assist with demolition, site preparation and material handling
Safely use common hand and power tools
Load, unload and organize materials, tools and equipment
Maintain clean, organized and secure jobsites
Follow direction from the Project Lead and Owner
Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
Take initiative and help keep projects moving
Respect clients, their property and completed work

Comfortable performing physically demanding work
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
Previous construction, carpentry, renovation, landscaping or hardscaping experience is an asset
WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid and equipment experience are assets

The right person will have opportunities to gain experience in framing, renovations, decks, landscaping, hardscaping, concrete, layout, equipment operation and other areas of residential construction. Increased skill, responsibility and productivity can lead to increased compensation and advancement within the company.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
