Responsibilities
Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting projects.
Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail.
Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces, ensuring seamless blending with existing finishes.
When working at heights or on scaffolding to ensure safety and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
Manage time efficiently to complete projects within scheduled timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
Proven construction experience with a focus on residential painting or related fields such as carpentry or commercial painting.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other painting equipment.
Experience with restoration projects and industrial or commercial painting is a plus.
Robust communication skills for effective customer service and team collaboration.
Knowledge of safety protocols when working at heights or with scaffolding.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Must have drivers licence and Clean drivers abstract and own vehicle
