What you will do
Prevent shoplifter theft in a retail environment while providing customer service to clients, patrons and customers.
Wear plain clothes to work undercover, discreetly blending in with shoppers.
Patrol store aisles, monitor customers, and watch security camera footage.
Confront individuals you suspect of theft, who have unpaid merchandise.




Escort trespassers out of the client premises.
Perform arrests, detainments, and recover unpaid merchandise
Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations.
Escalate situation to law enforcement as required.
Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner.

The Ideal Candidate
A Valid Ontario Security License
Use of Force certificate required
Experience with arrests and detaining shoplifting
Previous security experience in a retail workplace
Robust communication skills, both written and spoken.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:
Undercover/LPO: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
Ontario Security License (required)
Use of Force certification (preferred)
