Lube/Tire Technician Apprentice

Position Summary

NFS is seeking a motivated and reliable Lube/Tire Technician Apprentice to join our service team. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual looking to develop a career in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will assist with preventative maintenance, tire services, and basic vehicle inspections while receiving hands-on training from experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities
Perform oil changes, lubrication, and routine maintenance services.
Remove, install, rotate, balance, and repair tires.
Inspect tires, brakes, fluids, lights, and other vehicle components.
Check and maintain tire pressure according to manufacturer specifications.
Assist licensed technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete work orders and inspection reports accurately.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Interest in pursuing a career in automotive service and repair.
Previous automotive, tire,



or mechanical experience is considered an asset but not required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
