Duties
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Serve meals efficiently and courteously to guests or staff, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
Help with cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sanitizing workstations, and disposing of waste to uphold cleanliness standards
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,



notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless flow of meal service during busy hours

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated newcomers
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations within the food industry
Basic cooking skills, including meal preparation techniques and understanding of kitchen equipment
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and professionalism
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Experience working as part of a team in quick-paced environments is highly valued
