UX Designer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a UX Designer - Senior for a 13-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

UX Designer - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on user-centered design for digital products within the public sector. The UX Designer will focus on creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience through user research and design iterations.

UX Designer - Senior - Responsibilities:
Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces
Design the overall functionality of digital products to ensure a outstanding user experience
Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, translating insights into sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Lead UX projects, design workshops, and alignment sessions with stakeholders and business users
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convey design concepts and development processes

UX Designer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:




Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance
Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications
Ability to define and lead UX projects and design workshops
Skilled in conveying design concepts to diverse stakeholders
Experience with the Ontario Design system or other similar design systems

UX Designer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of accessibility testing
Experience with complex design challenges, especially with legacy systems
Proficient in designing with accessibility in mind, meeting WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
Prior public service/OPS experience

UX Designer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position from September 2026 to October 2027.

ASAP

UX Designer - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
