Airswift is working with one of our major clients in the Oil & Gas industry to find a Mechanic to join their team in Lloydminster, AB. This is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Mechanic to support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with basic mechanical knowledge who are eager to learn, develop technical skills, and grow within a maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic equipment maintenance and repair activities.
Perform routine inspections and identify visible signs of wear or damage.
Support preventive maintenance tasks under supervision.
Help clean, organize, and maintain equipment and work areas.
Follow established maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
Record maintenance activities and update basic documentation as required.
Assist with equipment preparation, movement, and handling.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks.
Maintain a safe and organized work setting.
Participate in training and learning prospects to develop mechanical skills.

Basic Qualifications




High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in mechanics and equipment maintenance.
Ability to use basic hand tools safely.
Willingness to learn maintenance procedures and equipment operation.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and working in a workshop environment.
Familiarity with basic mechanical components and tools.

Additional Information:
Schedule: Shift is Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.
OT on evenings and weekends as required / approved by manager

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
