We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AZ Truck Driver, AZ Owner Operator to join our team and drive excellence on the road. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty commercial trucks across regional or long-haul routes, ensuring timely and secure delivery of freight. Responsibilities
Safely operate AZ class trucks to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Manage freight loading and unloading processes, utilizing forklift equipment when necessary to handle cargo efficiently
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns
Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs, bills of lading, and inspection reports
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability during trips
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently
Skills
Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Proficiency in forklift operation and handling heavy equipment safely
Solid knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and route planning tools effectively
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Physical ability to lift heavy cargo and perform manual tasks related to freight handling
