Veterinary Assistant – Don Valley Animal Hospital, North York, ON, Canada

Full time on site position.

We are located west of the D.V.P. on Lawrence Ave. E. across from the Shops on Don Mills.

Veterinary Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or a RVT, on various aspects of animal care such as dosage/purpose of medications, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations. In collaboration with the team, they will suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. They will also greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to an workplace in which animals feel safe and secure.
