Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with a Montessori background to join our team as a Lead Teacher. The ideal candidate will be warm, skilled, and enthusiastic about working with children aged 12 months to 6 years.

Preference will be given to candidates with additional skills in French, music, dance, or yoga, as we value creativity and enrichment in our program.

Responsibilities
Create and maintain a calm, prepared Montessori learning environment
Implement Montessori principles through daily routines and activities
Observe, guide, and support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues




Maintain accurate documentation and classroom records
Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture

Qualifications
Alberta Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certificate
Montessori training or classroom experience
Valid First Aid & CPR
Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Robust communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility
Experience or interest in French, music, dance, or yoga is a solid asset
