Brandt is currently seeking a Labourer for our Hearst Construction & Forestry location.

The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for assisting in the dismantling of construction, forestry and mining based heavy equipment and components.

Duties & Responsibilities
Cleaning parts and components
Cleaning and organizing the yard
Some inventory maintenance.
Assisting the other shop personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity
LI-onsite

Required Skills
Demonstrate safe and productive workplace practices
Highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
Solid attention to detail
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Experience
Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment setting (ie: lifting up to 75 pounds)
Must be capable of working under minimal supervision
Previous mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
Forklift experience and heavy duty parts handling considered an asset
