Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Hakka Chef to bring authentic Hakka cuisine to life in a vibrant restaurant setting. Duties
Prepare and cook authentic Hakka dishes with precision and creativity, maintaining traditional flavors and techniques
Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and adherence to quality standards
Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Oversee food service operations during peak hours, coordinating with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service
Train and mentor team members in cooking methods, food presentation, and safety protocols
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained




Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through effective stock management

Skills
Proven supervising experience in a busy restaurant or culinary setting
Robust knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
Extensive food service experience with a focus on Asian or Hakka cuisine preferred
Leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Excellent restaurant management abilities including workflow coordination and staff training
Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Exceptional communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food quality and safety standards
