Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Excavating Hand to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with excavation tasks, operate hand tools, and support the overall efficiency of excavation projects. This role is vital to ensuring protected, precise, and timely completion of excavation work on various construction sites. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a physically demanding setting.

Responsibilities
Assist with digging, trenching, and site preparation according to project specifications
Operate hand tools such as shovels, picks, and rakes efficiently and safely
Support the operation of small machinery as needed under supervision
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents
Collaborate with team members to complete excavation tasks within designated timelines




Assist with site cleanup and material handling during and after project completion
Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors immediately

Qualifications
Prior experience in excavation or construction work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
Solid attention to safety procedures and guidelines
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work setting

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
