Nanny / Home Child Care Provider
Langley, BC | $22.00 per hour | 40 hours per week | Full time, term/contract | In office

We are a private household looking for a reliable nanny to provide full-time care for children in our home in Langley.

Duties
Supervise and care for children
Tend to children’s emotional well-being
Maintain a safe and healthy home workplace for the children
Change diapers and assist with toilet training as directed by the parents
Prepare bottles, formulas, and nutritious meals for the children
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
Organize age-appropriate activities, games, and outings
Perform light housekeeping related to the children (children’s laundry, bottles, meal prep, and tidying play areas)
Shop for children’s food and related household supplies as needed
Follow the parents’ routines and discipline methods

Hours
Monday to Friday,



daytime / morning shift, 40 hours per week.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Willing to train
English required
Emergency child care first aid and CPR is an asset (or willing to obtain)
Reliability, patience, good judgement, and strong communication skills

Other
Work is in the employer’s home
Public transportation is available
This is not a live-in position
Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay provided in accordance with BC Employment Standards

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents with a valid work permit are welcome to apply.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
