This position offers a mix of serving and supervising shifts. Serving and bartending experience mandatory. Knowledge of local craft beer an asset.

On serving shifts, successful applicants will be responsible for serving a large section; paying close attention to steps of service and the needs of guests; maintaining a thorough knowledge of food and drink menus, including daily features; thoroughly completing cleaning duties; working as a part of a team; contributing to a positive work culture; upholding a high standard of service and hospitality.

Additional responsibilities during Supervising shifts will include:
Managing FOH Staff while working on the floor as a bartender or host/expo during dinner service until close; supporting serving staff and overseeing service; cutting staff as service slows down to maintain labour targets; assisting in floor and bar closing duties
Working independently during lunch shifts to serve a large section
Using the POS System to create or change menu items and update counts on items




Changing kegs and updating chalkboard beer menus to reflect any changes in the rotational draft list; taking empty kegs to lock-up at end of shift; stocking 30L and 50L kegs in keg fridge
Problem-solving and finding solutions to handle customer complaints and any other issues that may arise
Completing tasks such as stocking liquor and wine; inputting invoices; placing product orders
Closing out Daily Sales numbers by inputting data from reports, recording staff hours, filing paperwork, handling cash; turning off lights, locking doors, and setting alarms at end of night

Applicants must be kind and personable with guests and coworkers; be able to multitask and make decisions on the fly in a fast-paced environment; be dedicated to maintaining a high standard of hospitality and excellent work culture; have a keen attention to detail; have a adaptable schedule and weekend availability; be able to work until 1:00 a.m.; be available for day shifts; be able to stand, walk, and use stairs throughout shift.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
