Provide specialized legal advice on investigative processes
Research legal trends in civilian oversight and criminal law
Support ongoing investigations with legal assistance
Prepare and review judicial authorizations for legality
Conduct reviews of completed investigations for legal sufficiencyRequirements:
LL.B. or JD with 8+ years in criminal law
Active membership with the Law Society of Alberta
Advanced knowledge of Criminal Code and Police Act
