Le Stagiaire en Conception pour PCE (Ingénierie, centre de produits) ECN (Composantes Externes Contrôle et Nacelle) est responsable de trouver des solutions avec les différents groupes impliqués, de valider et de préparer la documentation pour différentes demandes de changement d’ingénierie. In English: The Intern in Design for PCE (Product Center Engineering) ECN (External Component Control and Nacelle) is responsible to find solutions with involved groups, to validate and to prepare documentations required for different engineering change requests. He contributes to his team or department by applying his knowledge of several functional areas. If you are a skilled able to work quite independently and have a thorough knowledge of the discipline and the role, we invite you to apply.

What will your day-to-day look like?

- Learn and follow the design steps for the introduction of engineering changes to reduce non-conformities or to address supplier requests affecting various ECN components (sensors, pumps, tubes, electrical harnesses, electronic control, valves, etc.).
- Prepare and review the documentation required to validate the change conformity (material, manufacturing process, tolerances, etc.).
- Interface with various groups involved in these projects (supplier, project engineer, material specialist, buyer, customer support, drafting, etc.).
- Improve our processes.

Apprendre et suivre les étapes de conception pour introduire des changements d’ingénierie afin de réduire les non-conformités ou pour adresser les demandes des fournisseurs affectant les différentes composantes de ECN (capteurs, pompes, tubes, harnais électrique, module de contrôle électronique, valves, etc.). Préparer et revoir la documentation requise afin d’assurer la conformité des modifications proposées (matériaux, processus de fabrication, tolérances, etc.).



Collaborer avec différents groupes impliqués dans ces projets (fournisseur, ingénieur de projet, spécialiste des matériaux, acheteur, support au client, dessinateur, etc.). Améliorer nos processus.

What do you need to be successful?

- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Communication and presentation skills.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
