Join the Great Events Catering Team!

Great Events Catering is looking for multiple Casual Catering Servers to join our event team.

We cater a wide variety of events throughout Calgary and surrounding areas, including weddings, corporate events, galas, private celebrations, receptions, and large-scale special events.

What You'll Do

As a Catering Server, you'll play an important role in creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Depending on the event, your responsibilities may include:
Providing friendly, qualified, and attentive guest service
Serving plated meals, buffets, cocktail receptions, and passed appetizers
Serving food and beverages throughout events
Setting and resetting tables
Carrying trays and clearing plates, glassware, and cutlery
Replenishing buffets, beverage stations, and service areas
Maintaining clean and organized guest and service areas
Assisting with event setup and teardown
Working closely with Event Captains, Managers, kitchen, and bar teams




Following food safety, liquor service, and workplace safety procedures

The ideal candidate:
Enjoys working with people and providing great service
Is reliable and punctual
Works well as part of a team
Is comfortable in a fast-paced event environment
Can stand and walk for extended periods
Is comfortable carrying trays, plates, and service items
Has a professional appearance and positive attitude
Is available for a variety of shifts, especially evenings and weekends

Previous experience in catering, banquet service, restaurants, hotels, weddings, or events is an asset.
