Job Title: Class 1 Long Haul Driver
Location: Halifax, NS
Shift/Hours: Full time, ongoing schedule
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

The Class 1 Long Haul Driver will complete scheduled dry van runs throughout Canada and the United States. This role is suited for an experienced, safety-focused driver who is comfortable with cross-border transportation, long-haul routes, accurate documentation, and regular communication with dispatch and operations teams.

This position offers steady year-round work, consistent routes, and support from an experienced transportation team.

Responsibilities:
Complete scheduled dry van runs throughout Canada and the United States
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with transportation regulations
Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams




Ensure freight is transported safely and efficiently
Complete routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
Follow company safety procedures and transportation requirements
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 driver's licence required
Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
Clean criminal record required
Clean driver's abstract required
QUICK Card considered a solid asset
Previous cross-border or long-haul driving experience considered an asset
Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
Reliable, organized, and able to manage long-haul schedules
Able to communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations teams
