In the role of Machine Shop Technician, you’ll work overnight on weekends, directly contributing to quality control and production processes. Your responsibilities will include setup, operation of boring mill equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. A commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence is key in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up CNC machines based on programming specifications
• Observe operations for tolerance maintenance and adjustments
• Document quality actions and report out discrepancies




• Perform tasks per engineering and manufacturing guidelines
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• High school diploma plus 3 years of Boring Mill experience
• Skilled in reading engineering documents and using measurement tools
• Must be eligible to work in Canada; compliant with ITAR
• Certification in machining is a plus
• Solid English communication abilities
