Retail Sales Clerk - Winter (Seasonal) Full-time and Part-time

We are looking to fill the position of Retail Sales Clerk atFernie Alpine Resort . You find yourself when you enter one of our stores. Youhave a passion and knowledge for mountain fashion and ski/boarding gear and canalways scope out the latest styles. The ideal candidate will have strongcustomer service skills, cash handling and computer experience and will be ateam player. The primary focus is toconsistently meet and exceed the expectations of our internal and external gueststhrough timely, effective and appropriate operations of Sports Alpine Boutique.Come join our team and enjoy perks such as discounts on lodgingand lessons, endless ski/snowboard privileges, employee events, food andbeverage discounts, and much much more!

You Will:

- Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmospherefor both guests and staff
- Continually strive to exceed our Guest’s experienceand to create memories for guestsand staff as the best mountain experience
- POStransactions and end of day cash outs
- Assistin merchandizing store to ensure ideal presentation of product
- Knowand adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts ofthe Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- Knowand follow all secure work procedures included in the Safety ManagementProgram




- Knowand comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-WorkPrograms
- Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have:

- Provenexperience in retail, inventory control and cash handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher)
- Physically capability to lift moderately heavy items, stand for longperiods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull andcarry items and use a step ladder
- Availability to work days, early evenings, weekends and holidays
