Position: Class 1 Driver

Type: Full Time: 40+ hours per week

We are seeking experienced Class Drivers with deck experience to do P&D; work out of our Stony Plain office.

Key Accountabilities

Operate tractor-trailer (flat deck, primarily) to transport goods and materials, load and unload, load securement, electronic logs,

Qualifications And Requirements

- Class 1 Driver’s License required with clean abstract.
- Must be familiar with manual transmission
- Must have Deck experience

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

- Ability to read/react to road conditions
- Manual dexterity
- Class 1 driver’s license
- Air brake endorsement
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Demonstrated organizational skills:



strong oral and written communication abilities, task prioritization, use of timelines and time management techniques
- Skilled/mature demeanour under stressful situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to read/react to road conditions
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed

Working Conditions

- Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Overtime as required
