Swamper – 3‑Month Contract, Calgary, AB

Staffmax is helping our client hire a Swamper to assist in their cold storage facility for a 3-month contract. This role involves manual material handling in a refrigerated environment. It’s ideal for individuals who are physically fit and comfortable working in cooler temperatures.

Contract Length: 3 Months

Location: Calgary, AB

Key Responsibilities

- Assist drivers with loading/unloading goods in and out of cold storage
- Move boxes and containers using dollies or hand trucks
- Verify product counts and condition during transfers
- Work in refrigerated areas for extended periods (0 to 4°C)
- Keep aisles and loading areas clean and organized
- Report damaged or missing items to supervisors




- Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Requirements

- Experience in warehouse or swamper roles preferred
- Comfortable working in cold environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions
- CSA-certified steel‑toe boots and warm layers required
- Dependable and able to follow instructions
