Interpro Recycling is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and injury-free environment.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesThe Class 1 Driver, reporting to the Regional Manager, will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of scrap metal and containers to and from the facility.If you’re looking for a role where you can be home every night and seldom work on weekends, this is the position for you!Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles, including roll-off, lugger, and Super B units within a 160 km radius of CamroseTransport scrap metal, containers, and related materials to and from the facilityComplete pickups and deliveries accurately, safely, and on schedulePerform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipmentEnsure all loads are properly secured and transported in accordance with applicable safety requirementsMaintain accurate records of trips, loads, pickups, deliveries, and other required documentationFollow all company policies, transportation regulations, and industry safety protocolsCommunicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and team membersReport vehicle, equipment, or safety concerns promptly to managementMaintain a clean and safe work environmentWork independently while effectively managing routes, schedules,



and timePerform other related duties as requiredRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalency requiredValid Class 1 Driver’s License requiredMinimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferredExperience operating roll-off bins, lugger bins, and Super B trailers is preferredClean driving abstract requiredPrevious experience in scrap metal recycling, waste management, transportation, or a related industry is considered an assetKnowledge of protected commercial vehicle operation, load securement, transportation regulations, and workplace safety requirementsDemonstrated ability to safely operate Class 1 vehicles, including roll-off, lugger, and Super B unitsStrong commitment to safety, reliability, and maintaining equipment in good working conditionAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete pickups and deliveries accurately and on scheduleStrong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skillsDependable, professional, and team-oriented with a strong work ethicBenefitsFamily medical, dental, and prescription coverage at minimal employee costShort and long term disability programsCompetitive retirement plansFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsEmployer-provided and Voluntary Life Insurance optionsPaid vacation and recognized statutory holidaysApprenticeship and career advancement within the companyTuition reimbursementWellness programWhile we thank all those who apply,
