Summary

Our Sales Associates are critical to the success of our stores. As a Sales Associate, it’s your job to create the best possible customer experience. You listen to each customer and offer recommendations and current product knowledge in response to their needs. You communicate the brand’s sustainability initiatives and social and ethical commitments while sharing your love and passion for our products. You operate as part of a dynamic team and cooperate to achieve business goals.

Description

You create personalized shopping experiences for our customers that drive brand loyalty. You greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store, ensure that all customer questions are answered accurately and promptly, and communicate our return policy effectively. You maintain a positive, cheerful attitude with customers and team members, promote the store and brand image in all interactions, and adhere to a dress code. You provide exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone.

Beyond sales floor duties, you operate the cash register, handle money accurately, check inventory daily to ensure products are stocked and available, and merchandize products in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards. You maintain a clean and organized back‑stock and break area, including daily vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting. You practice safety‑consciousness and respond to theft in accordance with company policies.



You are a reliable team member who reports to work on time and notifies your Store Manager in advance if you will be late or absent.

Key Qualifications

- Two (2) years of retail store experience preferred.
- High School Diploma
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey the Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to your team members and customers
- Highly motivated team player and self‑starter

Additional Requirements

- Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet the needs of the business.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools and applications.
- Valid driver’s license

Salary

$18.50 – The salary posted reflects the target for new hire salaries for this role at this specific store location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
