As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in patient care at the Central North Correctional Centre. Collaborating with an inter-professional health care team, you will assess patients, monitor treatment plans, and contribute to health program development. Your expertise will help patients transition successfully back into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for triage • Advocate for patient participation in care plans • Monitor treatment response and adjust interventions • Communicate with community providers for patient histories • Provide emergency and acute care as needed
Requirements: • Registered Nurse in valuable standing in Ontario • Ability to handle complex patient needs • Experience in crisis intervention and health teaching • Knowledge of qualified standards and legislation • Solid communication and organizational skills
