Maintenance Power Engineer

Your Mission

Reporting to Maintenance Manager you will be responsible toensure company assets, including boilers, production equipment, and facilities, are well maintained and operating in a safe mechanical manner. This role supports the reduction of production downtime through effective troubleshooting, implementation of preventive maintenance programs, and reliable operation of plant systems.

What you will do

Support development and maintenance of preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment

Coordinate external contractors for repairs when required

Enter maintenance data into PMXPERT (work orders, traceability)

Operate and repair processing, filling, packaging, and water treatment equipment

Collaboration & Plant Support

Maintain accurate maintenance records

Promote and enforce Safe wok practices

Assist in Heath and safety program implementation

Monitor and prevent unsafe practices

Recommend process improvements and efficiency gains

Identify and implement cost-saving ideas

What we expect from you





Prior Experience in maintenance and or technician role

Minimum class 5 power engineering

Physically capable of maintenance work

Strong organizational and decision-making skills

Technical knowledge of PMXPERT, PLC, and equipment

Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

Team-oriented mindset

Strong organization and time management

Safety-focused approach

Starting Hourly rate of $40.12 and increases as per CBA
