Become a pivotal part of the Nee Tahi Buhn First Nation as a full time Maintenance Worker. Enjoy hands-on work while maintaining community infrastructure, ensuring everything remains functional and safe.
We are seeking two motivated Maintenance Workers to join our Operations and Maintenance team. You will assist in the upkeep of public facilities, roads, housing, and water systems. This role requires physical labor and problem-solving skills to address maintenance issues effectively throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repairs on community buildings
• Operate and maintain equipment like tractors and lawn mowers
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs
• Respond to emergency situations promptly
• Purchase supplies and materials for maintenance tasks
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of maintenance experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
• Ability to lift and work outdoors in various weather
• Basic computer skills for reporting
• Experience with Indigenous organizations preferred
