JOURNEYMAN HEAVY DUTYMECHANIC – RED DEER (RDC)

The Heavy Duty Mechanic is responsible for themechanical workings of all vehicles.

Responsibilities:

- Ensurethat Trican’s core value, “Safe equipment and operations” is the priorityin all activities
- Operatea hoist and lift device to position machinery in a safe manner
- Inspectand examine vehicles and equipment
- Service,diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles and perform otherroutine maintenance work
- Keepup to date with industry standards and regulations
- Providesguidance and instruction to less experienced operators,



or apprenticemaintenance personnel
- Operatea service truck to support field operations

Experience &Skills;:

- JourneymanHeavy Duty Mechanic (or) JourneymanMillwright certification is required
- CVIPis considered an asset
- ValidClass 1 license preferred; will consider Class 3 or 5
- HeavyEquipment Technician will be an asset
- Safedriving skills: driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physicallyfit – heavy lifting required
- Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
