Join NFTY as a Regional Mentor in Central Canada to elevate teen leadership in the Jewish community. This hybrid position emphasizes relationship-building and youth empowerment.
As a Regional Mentor, your mission will be to enhance the leadership skills of teens while fostering a vibrant, inclusive community. You will nurture connections with stakeholders and support congregational initiatives to expand engagement. This part time role suits individuals passionate about mentoring and community organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach the teen-led Regional Board through mentorship
• Design and implement engagement strategies for development
• Build relationships with synagogue professionals and community leaders
• Host regular conversations with regional stakeholders
• Attend fall, winter, and spring Kallah retreats
Requirements:
• Experience in youth mentorship or educational roles
• Strong interpersonal skills for relationship-building
• Solid organization and self-management capabilities
• Knowledge of Reform Judaism and community dynamics
• Commitment to inclusion and diversity in Jewish life
