Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager, Tax Services to join a leading public accounting firm's Private Enterprise Tax practice. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals, providing strategic tax planning, compliance oversight, and business advisory services.The ideal candidate will bring extensive Canadian tax experience, robust technical expertise across corporate, personal, and trust taxation, and a proven ability to develop client relationships, lead engagement teams, and contribute to practice growth. This role offers the opportunity to partner with business owners on complex tax matters, corporate reorganizations, succession planning, and long-term tax strategies.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesLead multiple client-facing tax engagement teams and oversee engagement deliveryReview and oversee corporate (T2), personal (T1), and trust (T3) tax compliance engagementsDevelop and implement advanced tax planning strategies for private enterprise clients and shareholdersAdvise clients on corporate reorganizations, succession planning, and business structuring initiativesAnalyze financial statements and identify tax risks, opportunities,



and planning considerationsLiaise with the CRA and provincial tax authorities regarding client mattersReview tax elections and documentation related to complex tax transactions and reorganizationsManage a portfolio of private enterprise clients and act as a trusted business advisorOversee engagement budgets, project financials, billing, WIP management, and profitabilityDrive business development initiatives through networking, relationship building, and proposal developmentContribute to strategic planning and operational improvements within the Tax practiceMentor, coach, and develop managers, senior accountants, and junior staff membersREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCECompletion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program7+ years of public accounting or tax consulting experienceExtensive knowledge of Canadian corporate, personal, and trust taxationExperience supporting private enterprise and owner-managed business clientsProven experience in tax planning, tax compliance, and corporate reorganizationsStrong leadership, client relationship management, and practice development experienceStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysisPlease Note: We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
