At Forsite, we are looking for a full-time Forest Technician with a solid understanding of British Columbia's forestry standards. This role involves various responsibilities such as reconnaissance, road and cut block engineering, and conducting ecological assessments. Expect to work both independently and as part of a team while pursuing challenging outdoor tasks.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct reconnaissance for road and cut block development • Perform ecological and riparian assessments • Create associated plans and appraisal packages • Ensure all activities meet safety and efficiency standards • Occasionally participate in out-of-town and camp work

Requirements: • Post-secondary diploma or degree, or 3 years of relevant experience • Strong grasp of general forestry practices • Valid driver’s license with a safe record • Passion for outdoor work in varying conditions • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
