Tim Hortons in Amherst, NS is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations in a rural area setting. This is a permanent, shift-based role working 42 to 48 hours per week across a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate daily operations and plan and organize workflow
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor and review staff performance; conduct performance reviews
- Supervise and train staff
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Lead and instruct team members
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide customer service
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

Requirements

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate




- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- First Aid Certificate
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace under pressure with tight deadlines
- Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
