Description

Home Health Care Worker – Permanent employment. Full time (30 to 40 hours per week).

Location: North York, ON. Salary: $21.00 hourly. Start as soon as possible. Work is on site only; remote work is not an option.

Work site setting is non‑smoking. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live‑in basis; this is not a condition of employment.

Work will be performed in the employer’s/client’s home.

Tasks

- Care for an elderly woman with disability, including bedside and personal care.
- Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Assist in regular exercise such as walking.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Provide companionship.
- Provide personal care as needed.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.





Job Requirements

- Security and safety: Criminal record check.
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal suitability: Client focus, dependability, initiative, organized, reliability.
- Languages: English.
- Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
