Job Summary

We are looking for two Summer Students to support our Nephrology Research Program by assisting with a systematic review and meta‑analysis.

Employment Details

- Duration: Up to August 28, 2026 (subject to change)
- Reporting Relationship: Manager, Research
- Hiring Salary Range: $20/hour
- Availability: Monday–Friday; with some flexibility as required
- Union: Non‑Union
- Location: Hennick Humber Hospital (Wilson)

Responsibilities

- Research protocol development
- Literature searches
- Title and abstract screening
- Full‑text retrieval and screening
- Data extraction
- Risk of bias assessment
- Statistical analysis
- Report writing

Qualifications

- Must be actively enrolled in post‑secondary education.
- Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required.
- Candidates from the North West Toronto community are especially encouraged to apply; preference will be given to local residents.
- Intermediate/proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Superior organizational skills and detail‑oriented.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.




- Ability to multitask competing priorities.
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
