Embark on a financial journey with AIMCo as a Summer Student in Economics & Investment Research from May to August 2027. This role emphasizes macroeconomic analysis while supporting client investment goals.
As a full-time Summer Student, you'll engage deeply in applied quantitative research. Collaboratively, you will assist various teams by analyzing macroeconomic data and crafting tools intended for total portfolio management. You'll also aid in developing LLM-based prompting strategies, enhancing the team's investment research capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct macroeconomic and financial data analysis
• Support statistical modeling of investment research
• Collaborate with Multi-Asset Portfolio Management and Risk Management
• Prepare materials to communicate research findings
• Participate in developing LLM-based workflows
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a quantitative bachelor's, master's, or PhD program
• Proficiency in R or Python programming
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Robust analytical and communication skills
• Interest in investment management or finance
