Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and responsibleHome Child Care Providerto provide safe, nurturing, and attentive care for children in the employer’s home in Richmond, BC.

The successful candidate will supervise and care for children, support their daily routines, prepare nutritious meals, assist with personal hygiene, organize age-appropriate activities, and help create a safe and healthy home workplace. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, trustworthy, and has experience providing childcare.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
- Organize activities, games, reading, and outings appropriate for children’s age and development.
- Assist children with personal hygiene, dressing, and daily routines.
- Prepare children for rest periods and maintain daily schedules.
- Help children with homework and educational activities.
- Support children’s emotional well-being and social development.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and positive habits.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to children.
- Wash, iron, and press children’s clothing and household linens as required.




- Take children to and from school and appointments when required.
- Follow parents’ instructions regarding childcare routines and discipline methods.
- Cook and prepare meals for children.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 2 years of childcare experience required.
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Good English communication skills.
- Punjabi language is an asset.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Patient, reliable, flexible, and honest.
- Experience caring for children in a home setting.

- Salary:$20.00 per hour
- Hours:30 hours per week
- Schedule:Day Shift
