Job Posting – Parts Distribution / Inventory Control – Contract Position

Metalfab LTD is a manufacturer of custom manufactured Fire Apparatus located in Centreville, NB, Canada. Metalfab manufactures customized fire apparatus designed to meet the specific needs of each customer. Our products include: Pumpers, Tankers, Rescues, Mini Pumpers, and other fire related apparatus.

Metalfab LTD. Is looking to hire a Parts Distribution and Inventory Control clerk. This position will start as a term contract of 3 months with an option to extend following the contract term. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager and will be responsible for the following:

a. Picking and issuing parts and shop supplies (Kitting);

b. Reviewing and replenishing stock on the shop floor;

c. Cycle counting, stocking shelves;

d.



Delivering required parts or shop supplies to various areas of the facility;

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift components weighing 30 to 40 pounds or more. Knowledge of various computer programs would be an asset but not a requirement. Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
