We invite six individuals to join our team as Shellfish Labourers this season. Responsibilities include unloading fish, operating forklifts, and conditioning filets. You will also sort and weigh fish, all while maintaining a clean and organized area in a damp, noisy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload fish and shellfish and transport them to the work area
• Use forklifts for efficient transport
• Weigh and pack fish in ice properly
• Ensure machine cleanliness and workspace organization
• Sort fish by various standards
Requirements:
• Willingness to engage in physically demanding work
• Ability to lift 45 kg (100 lbs) or more
• Flexibility in hours, including weekends and nights
• No previous experience or Canadian work experience needed
• Tailored on-the-job training for newcomers
