This co-op position lasts for 8 to 12 months, where you'll support electrical projects essential for the maintenance and improvement of mining equipment. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical failures, utilizing skills in AC/DC drives and PLCs, and assisting in the design of new installations. Collaboration with engineering and operations will be crucial to ensure project success while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety programs
• Generate job plans for electrical projects
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues
• Support project management and cost analysis
• Update site line drawings using AutoCAD
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Electrical Engineering undergraduate degree
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions
• Strong communication skills for complex ideas
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Power Systems is a plus
