Vancouver Island University is seeking a Front Desk Customer Service representative to expertly assist students and hotel guests. Your role involves tracking inventory and providing excellent service face-to-face and online.

In this Front Desk role, you'll be the first point of contact for students and guests, responsible for processing reservations, inquiries, and transactions. You will maintain clear communication and ensure the efficient tracking of student documentation. Additionally, you will support residence life staff in organizing events and helping with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:



• Provide skilled customer service at the front desk • Track and manage key inventory and student's signed-out items • Process summer guest reservations and transactions • Assist in data entry and accurate daily report submissions • Help with the organization and cleanliness of building spaces

Requirements: • Completed Grade 12 with adequate computer skills • Customer-focused mindset and respect for confidentiality • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and diplomacy • Proven problem-solving skills in diverse cultural environments • Familiarity with MS Office and database management
