Position Summary

Support friendly, efficient day-to-day service at the Pepper & Thyme concession, including customer service, POS, stocking, food holding/service, cleaning and shift readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately and communicate menu options, pricing and wait times.
- Operate POS/cash transactions accurately when assigned and follow reconciliation procedures.
- Assemble/serve approved concession items and maintain safe hot/cold holding practices.
- Stock beverages, packaged snacks, condiments, utensils, packaging and grab-and-go items.
- Maintain clean counters, equipment and service areas throughout the shift; complete assigned opening/closing tasks.
- Complete or assist with temperature, cleaning, inventory and waste records as assigned.
- Support peak-period line flow, staged items and quick service during games,



tournaments and events.
- Answer basic ingredient/allergen questions only when confident; refer uncertain or severe-allergy questions to an owner/lead.
- Report customer concerns, food safety issues, equipment concerns, injuries or hazards promptly.

Skills & Qualifications

- Friendly, reliable and comfortable working directly with customers.
- Able to work efficiently during busy periods and follow procedures accurately.
- Food-service, retail, concession or POS experience is an asset.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset and may be required for certain duties.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine stocking/cleaning duties.
