Join the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury as a Wastewater Operator, contributing to the operation and maintenance of our contemporary Water Pollution Control Plant. Utilize your skills with wastewater systems and equipment for community support.

This role reports directly to the Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor and involves hands-on responsibilities. Candidates should possess an MOE license in Wastewater Treatment or Collection and a commitment to further training. Engagement with the community is vital, as well as maintaining the state-of-the-art Class IV Plant and Class III Collection Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain the Class IV Water Pollution Control Plant
• Use Vactor truck for sewer flushing and repairs
• Perform daily lab tests and microscopic analysis




• Manage inspection and repairs of wastewater treatment systems
• Interact professionally with customers and contractors

Requirements:
• MOE Wastewater Treatment and Collection OIT license (or above)
• Diploma/degree in Environmental Technology preferred
• Knowledge of SCADA/PLC systems required
• Ability to work after hours for emergencies
• Valid Class “G” driver’s license with a clean record
