This position is ideal for a freelance instrument repair technician or an advanced student in the instrument repair field. You will work bi-monthly under the guidance of the Senior School Music Teacher, focusing on inspection and repair of various instruments used by students. The role emphasizes both technical skills and effective communication with staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and assess instruments for safety and performance
• Repair brass and woodwind with minor structural fixes




• Execute soldering and brazing repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed
• Support percussion and string instruments maintenance

Requirements:
• Proven experience in instrument repairs and maintenance
• Knowledge of various musical instrument mechanics
• Ability to work independently on repair projects
• Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Enrollment in recognized instrument repair program is a plus
