GFL Environmental is hiring a Facility Operator for the afternoon shift in Hamilton, ON. You will support waste management operations by processing hazardous materials and managing documentation.

In this full time position, you'll work under the Operations Supervisor and handle daily operations, including bulky hazardous waste consolidation. Expect a mix of physical duties, document management, and adherence to safety protocols while working indoors and outdoors in various weather settings. Achieving production goals will require both autonomy and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
• Consolidate household hazardous waste materials manually or by machine
• Lift and transport bulk containers (up to 20L)




• Complete necessary production reports and relevant paperwork
• Participate in company training sessions offered
• Collaborate with colleagues to fulfill daily targets

Requirements:
• Possession of a High School Diploma mandatory
• Forklift License considered an asset
• Hazardous material handling experience is a plus
• Must read and understand labels on waste containers
• Reliable transportation to the workplace is essential
