Pay rate will be $18.00 per hour, including insurance and time off benefits
Full time position working 40 hours per week
Work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Easterseals Florida is looking for a compassionate and organized Intake Specialist to be the welcoming first point of contact for individuals and families seeking mental health services. In this role, you’ll guide families through the intake process, help remove barriers to care, and provide essential administrative support that keeps services running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
Warmly greet and support families by phone and email as they begin services
Guide clients through intake paperwork, scheduling, and account setup
Coordinate appointments and help ensure timely access to services
Obtain and track insurance authorizations and payment arrangements
Communicate approvals and next steps with families, providers, and billing teams
Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases
Support grant reporting, provider documentation compliance, and community outreach events
Always uphold confidentiality, privacy standards, and our organizational values
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
At least 1 year of administrative or office experience
Experience with medical billing, scheduling, or mental health services is a plus
Comfort using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong communication,
organization, and customer service skills
Professionalism and care when handling confidential information
Flexibility to work occasional extended hours or special events
Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)
