Job Description What is the opportunity?
RBC GRM Wholesale Credit Management – Wholesale Data Oversight is hiring a Data analyst. You will strive to deliver high-quality data assets and support our data governance. You will ensure data quality assurance is well evidenced and documented to support business objectives. You will work with technologies such as Python, SQL, Tableau, ensuring data governance processes are robust, well-documented, and validated for accuracy and completeness.
What will you do? Participate in the enhancement and maintenance of our data assets
Assist in maintaining enterprise data governance documentation
Assist in the design, deployment and automation of data monitoring tools
Enhance and augment reporting capabilities on data quality
Establish systematic data validation processes to ensure reporting and analytics accuracy
Leverage AI to enhance data governance.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
SQL and Python programming experience
Experience with data management and visualization tools
Critical thinking and ability to analyze and solve complex data related tasks
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Nice-to-have Experience in the Financial Industry
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security
Experience with data modeling and database administration
Experience working with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027 ; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
