This 4-year PhD program, supported by UK-National Nuclear Laboratory, offers a comprehensive investigation into self-assembling molecular systems and their applications in nuclear waste management and recycling. Eligible candidates must hold a 2.1 honours degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or allied disciplines. You will receive training alongside emerging professionals from four partnering universities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize Molecular Dynamics to explore plutonium complex formation
• Investigate preventive measures for unwanted third-phase phenomena




• Formulate recent thermodynamic models to enhance process flowsheets
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for applied research
• Attend specialized training in radiation protection and safety

Requirements:
