WhoWe Need:
Weare looking for a diligent and dedicated Junior Accounting Clerk to join ourFinance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Clerk shouldbe eager to take initiative in a small but busy team. As our Accounting Clerk,not only do you take pride in meticulous work, you are willing to go the extramile to help your team.

KeyResponsibilities:

Support the accounts payableand receivable duties in conjunction with the Senior Staff Accountant,including day to day entries to PBS.

Manage the weekly payment cycle

Dailydata entry of financial transactions in database (i.e payables, ordeposits)

Reconciling and recordingcredit card expenses, tickets, and 407 charges

Reconcileselect accounts and schedules monthly, prior to month end

Complete ad-hoc requests andreconciliations to meet Management reporting requirements

Reconcilevarious accounts in a timely manner

Support with otheradministrative tasks for the Accounting department including end-of-monthaccounting report

WhatWe're Looking For:

Post-secondary education,specializing in Accounting or Finance

Relative experience inprofessional services (an asset but not required)

Strong proficiency in MS Excel

YourCharacteristics:





Solid understanding ofaccounting principles and a high affinity for numbers

Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills

Strong work ethic, with aself-starter and can-do attitude

A detail-oriented problemsolver

Work well with minimalsupervision and with the appropriate sense of urgency
